Government’s policies to get wages moving are working: Tony Burke

Workplace Relations Minister Tony Burke discusses the Albanese government’s policies to get wages moving as he insists inflation will come down. “Could you imagine where cost of living would be at the moment if you still had the determination to keep wages low that the previous government had?” Mr Burke told Sky News Australia. “As inflation starts to come down, we want to get to the point where those lines cross. “When those two lines cross and wages start to get in front of inflation again as inflation comes down, that’s when people start to get ahead.” Via news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site https://www.news.com.au
