‘Let’s face it’: Petrol prices are going to get ‘worse’

Australians need to “face it” as petrol prices are “not going to come down” and instead get “worse”, says Former member of the Australian House of Representatives Peter McGauran. “The governor of the Reserve Bank wants to lower interest rates if he can,” he told Sky News Australia. “But he’s got to wait for some more data on inflation, wage, employment and the like. “Plus, external forces – let’s face it, petrol prices are not going to come down, they’re going to go worse if you like, there’s a banking crisis in the United States – all of which factor in.” Via news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site https://www.news.com.au
