Pat Cummins ‘not happy’ about fans calling out ‘daft activism’

Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins has recently “copped plenty of barbs” from fans for his “climate change preaching and taking-the-knee antics,” says Sky News host Rita Panahi. “He is even penning unintentionally funny climate change pieces for the far-left Guardian … but he's not happy about fans calling him out on this sort of daft activism,” she said. Ms Panahi said in a "puff piece" in the Nine papers this weekend he “whines and whines about being called woke”. "He said, ‘I don't even know what woke means. If anything, some people would say it's a good thing. It's a label, it means nothing’. “Ok, so you don't know what woke means but it's a good thing but it also means nothing. Got it. Just like your activism Pat, that's rather incoherent to the point of being nonsensical.” Via news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site https://www.news.com.au
