Labor ignored ‘simple economic principle’ implementing gas price caps

Nationals Leader David Littleproud says Labor ignored “simple economic principle” in energy supply as gas price caps cause “investment” issues. “If you don’t work with the gas companies and be proactive with the gas companies and increase supply then prices are going to go up,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia. “They don’t have investment confidence at the moment because they have been told what they can and can’t earn. “The government needs to reset, recalibrate, these price caps don’t work, history has shown that.” Via news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site https://www.news.com.au
