‘A champion for our country’: Dutton pays tribute to late Senator Jim Molan

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has paid tribute to Liberal Senator and retired major general Jim Molan, saying he was a “champion for our country” for “literally decades”. “When he finished high school he went into the Australian Defence Force and he served there with a great deal of honour,” Mr Dutton said during a media conference on Tuesday. “He was respected by all of his colleagues. “Everybody who knew him knew that he loved our country and he had a great desire to help people.” Via news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site https://www.news.com.au
