‘No words that can heal this awful grief’: Qld Premier gives speech at police memorial

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says “there are no words that can heal this awful grief” during her speech at the state memorial being held for the fallen Qld police officers. “Rachel and Matthew were so completely determined to help, to be a force for good, they dedicated their lives to it,” Ms Palaszczuk said. “We will shoulder this burden together, we will re dedicate ourselves to their example. “In honour of two young people who lived what they believed.” Via news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site https://www.news.com.au
