The Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army said it had "carried out joint combat redness patrols and joint firepower strike drills” around Taiwan, though it did not provide specific locations. “This is a resolute response to current escalations of collusions and provocation from the United States and Taiwan."
