North Korea fires ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff have announced North Korea has fired an unspecified ballistic missile towards the sea of Japan. The launch of the missile follows the arrival of a US aircraft carrier in South Korea earlier in the week, which will conduct drills alongside the South's military forces.
