Cops hunt bicycle thief after tragic stabbing death

The 42-year-old victim was near the intersection of Camm Avenue and Goddard Way in Bull Creek on about 10.20am on Sunday when he confronted a teenage male who was attempting to steal a bike.The teenager stabbed the victim in the stomach as the armed teenager fled the scene.Neighbours reportedly saw the victim lying bloodied in the street and crying out in pain after the attack.He was taken to St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.On Monday, police confirmed the man had died.Investigators are appealing for anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam vision to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1800 333 000 or online at crimestopperswa.com.au.
