Shanghai Firefighters Use Drones to Deliver Medicine to Residents Impacted by COVID-19

Firefighters in Shanghai’s Xuhui district used drones for contactless medicine deliveries to residential neighborhoods impacted by COVID-19, footage posted on Tuesday, April 12, shows. Aerial footage released by Shanghai Fire shows the process of a delivery. According to the department, nearly 20 deliveries were made to 115 households on April 10. Shanghai reported 914 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 25,173 asymptomatic infections on Monday, according to China’s National Health Commission.
