Police Evacuate People Following Shooting in Northwest DC

At least three people, including one child, were injured following gunfire in northwest Washington, DC, on the afternoon of Friday April 22, police said. Officers began responding around 3.20 pm to reports of gun shots in the vicinity of Connecticut Avenue and Van Ness Street in the Van Ness area of Washington. As of 5.30 pm, police said they had not located a suspect or suspects. This video, recorded by Ivana Dervishi, shows a law enforcement response in the area.
