Pedestrian killed in horror motorbike crash

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision along Brighton Road near Dickens Street in Elwood about 11.20pm on Thursday.A 32-year-old Balaclava man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he died.The male motorcycle rider, a 19-year-old Hampton man, sustained serious injuries and was also taken to hospital.A Victoria Police spokesman said the exact circumstances of the crash had not yet been determined.Anyone who witnessed the crash, with dashcam footage or further information, has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.Investigations are ongoing.
