Joe Biden will be ‘finished’ if he cancels student debt

US President Joe Biden has reportedly said he is willing to forgive some of America's student loan debt, a move that could add more than $1.73 trillion to America's budget deficit. The Biden administration has extended a moratorium on borrowers paying off their student loans, a move that was first enacted by President Donald Trump. When he was campaigning for the presidency, Joe Biden said he was open to forgiving at least $10,000 in student debt per student.
