Victoria records 6,280 new COVID-19 cases and 20 deaths

Victoria has recorded 6,280 new local COVID-19 infections and 20 deaths in the latest reporting period. Of these cases, 2,066 cases were detected through PCR tests, and 4,214 were through rapid antigen tests. There are 365 Victorians in hospital with the virus, with 55 of whom are being treated in intensive care. There are more than 48,000 COVID cases active across Victoria.
