House Democratic leaders abandoned a third attempt on Thursday to pass a bipartisan infrastructure bill. The $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill was passed by the Senate but is being held up by progressives. Progressives want the Senate to pass a $1.85 trillion social safety net bill before even considering the infrastructure bill.
