South East Queensland struggles to contain twin outbreaks

Health authorities in Queensland are trying to contain twin outbreaks in Brisbane as new exposure sites have been listed. There are approximately 20 new sites around Brisbane, specifically in the suburbs of Spring Hill, South Brisbane, Rocklea, Albany Creek, and Eatons Hill. The mask mandate is now back in place for the Brisbane and Moreton Bay local government areas and people who live and work in those areas must wear masks indoors and outdoors when not socially distancing. South East Queensland has so far avoided a lockdown but Queensland Health is struggling to contain COVID-19 outbreaks from an aviation worker and his wife and an unvaccinated truck driver.
