Queensland administered 19,764 tests in past 24 hours

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says 19,764 COVID-19 tests were administered in the state yesterday. She the tests gave Queensland “an added layer of confidence” but there had to continue to be high rates of testing. Ms Palaszczuk said this was to ensure there were no unlinked cases because if any were discovered, it would be likely Queensland would go into lockdown.
