Concerns Palaszczuk government playing ‘pandemic politics’: Crisafulli

Queenslanders are concerned if Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is relying on actual health advice or playing a little bit of pandemic politics amid controversial border policies, according to Opposition Leader David Crisafulli. It comes amid reports Premier Palaszczuk has called for more detailed modelling to be presented at Friday's National Cabinet meeting before she will decide when it's safe to open up. Mr Crisafulli said "nobody" knows what she's talking about. "It just seems to be a kick the can down the road and whenever it gets hot and sticky, roll out the deputy premier to carry on like a pork chop and let's see if we can create a diversion," he told Sky News Australia. "The needle started to move in Queensland when footballing families were waved in and Queensland families were locked out. "That's when people started to say 'I wonder if this is health advice or I wonder if there's a little bit of pandemic politics going on'."
