‘A great concern to all Victorians’: Andrews announces 1,438 new local COVID-19 cases

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says there have been 1,438 new local COVID-19 cases and five further deaths recorded in the state. “This is more than a 50 per cent increase on yesterday’s daily numbers,” Premier Andrews said during a media conference on Thursday. “And I’m sure that will be a great concern to all Victorians.” There are currently 11,018 active cases of COVID-19 in the state.
