Masked Singer airdate revealed

Channel 10 has announced the popular reality series will air on September 13 at 7.30pm.The first trailer, which was released last month, featured a baby, a fish with a mullet, a kebab, a piñata, a vampire and something known only as ‘Atlantis’.The baby is particularly creepy.RELATED: How Ten pulled off ‘bananas’ Masked Singer grand finale“For the last time, my name’s not Baby, baby,” the character tells a bartender in the opening scenes of the promo as the masked cast starts to perform the Ting Tings hit That’s Not My Name.Osher Günsberg is set to return as host, with Urzila Carlson, Jackie O, Dave Hughes and Dannii Minogue back on the judging panel.Posting beneath the teaser on Instagram, Dannii shared her excitement about the upcoming season.“Season Three – can’t wait to watch this with my family and live tweet with you all #partytime #InspectorMinogue” she wrote.RELATED: Ten boss spills on Masked Singer line-upAs expected, there’s already speculation surrounding who could be lurking beneath the demonic masks.Among the rumoured stars are Home & Away and Pretty Little Liars star Tammin Sursok.As reported by New Idea, the actress touched down in Australia from LA with her family recently, prompting buzz she was flown in for The Masked Singer Australia.The 37-year-old shared a series of Instagram posts last month documenting her trip, including her time in hotel quarantine with her husband and their two young daughters.The other rumoured contestant was British reality TV star Charlotte Crosby, who was in Sydney in June to promote her Nova podcast Values and Vibrators.She also flew to Sydney in late July for work, only to turn around and return home shortly after.“I went to Australia just to quarantine and then came home,” Charlotte explained on Instagram.“I went to Australia for work which got cancelled because Sydney went into lockdown so I had to come home.”The reality star did not disclose what “work” she was referring to.It comes after Crosby made headlines in March when she released a video of her singing Adele’s Rolling In The Deep to the delight of fans, with Fox FM producer Leon Sjogren throwing out the strong guess on Twitter back in mid-June.TV Blackbox earlier reported that the show began filming on July 3.Last year, Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson took out the trophy, unmasked in the finale as the mysterious Bushranger.The Masked Singer Australia premieres Monday, September 13 at 7.30pm AEST on Channel 10 Via news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site https://www.news.com.au
