Australia not listed as part of America’s diplomatic mission in Middle East

Australia has not played a major role in the Afghanistan withdrawal and it is reported Australian officials were not even notified the August 31 deadline had been set. Australia’s minimised role in the withdrawal is indicative of the diplomatic relationship with the US, who only engage on matters of climate change.
