Sydney has shown a ‘real uptick’ in willingness to get vaccine

New South Wales Health Minister Brad Hazzard says there has been a “real uptick” in the number of Sydney residents who are willing to get vaccinated. Mr Hazzard said before the Delta outbreak, there was “disinterest” among the population to get vaccinated but this has changed since the outbreak. “Five or six weeks ago before we had this current outbreak of the Delta variant, I think there was a level of disinterest in Sydney, in getting vaccinated,” he said. "What we’ve seen is a real uptick in willingness to have one of the vaccines, either one of the vaccines."
