At least six people have been killed and many more injured after forest fires broke out in the southern Turkish province of Antalya, local media reported on July 31. According to authorities, the fires broke out on Wednesday at several locations in Manavgat, a coastal district in Antalya. As of July 30, some 960 personnel and over 20 aircraft were involved in the firefighting response.
