Russia president Vladimir Putin has warned the west not to cross the country’s red lines or Moscow will act “quick and tough” and the culprits will “regret it”. Mr Putin addressed the Federal Assembly at his annual State of the Nation address amid growing tensions with the Ukraine. "I hope that no one dares to cross the red line in respect to Russia, and we will determine where it is in each specific case”, he told the crowd. "Those who organize any provocations threatening our core security interests will regret their deeds more than they regretted anything for a long time."
