Putin knows ‘we will respond’: Joe Biden

President Joe Biden has declared the United States has responded and will continue to respond to threatening actions by Russian President Vladimir Putin. “I made very clear with Putin that we’re not going to seek escalation, but their actions will have consequences,” he said. “I responded directly and proportionately to Russia’s interference in our elections and the cyber attacks on our government and our business. “They did both of those things, and I told them we would respond and we have, but we can also cooperate when it’s in our mutual interests. “He understands we will respond”.
