Jailed Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny will gradually end his three week long hunger strike. In an Instagram post published by his lawyers Navalny said he was still demanding to be seen by a doctor of his choosing as he claims to be losing feeling is parts of his arm and his legs. It will take him 24 days to end the hunger strike which began in protest against prison conditions. His worsening health has triggered a diplomatic offensive from western nations and the US has threatened consequences if Mr Navalny dies in Russian custody.
