According to the Financial Review, Mr Turnbull lobbied against Mr Cormann’s bid for OECD Secretary General by reaching out to US officials and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Sky News host Rowan Dean revealed this was only one of a string of attempts made by Mr Turnbull to undermine the Liberal Party since he was deposed as prime minister.
