More than 7,000 properties impacted by floods in mid-north coast

More than 7,000 properties on New South Wales’ mid-north coast have been impacted by wild weather resulting in a one in 100-year flood in certain areas. Communities across the NSW coast have been hit by an extreme weather event with continuous days of rainfall causing mass floods across the state. The mid-north coast and north coast of the state were initially the worst hit by the deluge, with the focus for emergency services now moving to the Hawkesbury and Richmond communities, and parts of Western Sydney.
