COVID has been ‘weaponised by left-wing totalitarians’ around the world

Sky News host James Morrow says one of the “real hangovers” from COVID-19 is how policing has become “absolutely nakedly politicised”. It comes after Extinction Rebellion protesters took to Melbourne’s CBD for a week of traffic-stopping protests which disrupted much of the city’s returning workforce, while 2000 police officers monitored the situation. This was in contrast to Victoria Police’s approach to anti-lockdown protesters earlier in the year. “COVID has been weaponised by left-wing totalitarians in Australia and around the world,” Mr Morrow said.
