Texas Resident Documents Snowfall Near San Antonio

Several inches of snow accumulated in southern Texas by Monday, February 15, creating “very dangerous” travel conditions, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. The NWS said three to five inches of snow was reported in the region, with some areas seeing up to seven inches. The weather service said the “coldest temperatures since 1989” were recorded on Monday morning, with wind chill reaching -15 F in some locations. Twitter user @Ysunflowergirl said this footage was filmed in Schertz, a city within the San Antonio metropolitan area. “Got to have it in my memories [because] I have never felt cold like this before,” she said on Twitter. “Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen but it’s pretty and the pups love it.” Credit: @Ysunflowergirl via Storyful Via news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site https://www.news.com.au
