Sea Life Aquarium in Sydney Australia welcomed a new colony of baby gentoo penguins, on November 22. According to the aquarium, the chicks hatched in the Sub-Antarctic Zone over the last month with the oldest arriving mid-October and the youngest only two weeks ago. Sea Life also said the babies have been monitored and weighed daily by their dedicated team of carers who said they were healthy and rapidly growing. Parents of the new chicks include the aquarium’s famous gay penguin couple, Sphen and Magic, who have adopted their second egg.
