Wild Weather Brought by Tropical Storm Quinta Lashes Holiday Island in the Philippines

Tropical Storm Quinta brought strong winds and heavy flooding to parts of the Philippines on Sunday, October 25. The storm lashed several areas in the archipelago including Metro Manila, Laguna, the Calabarzon region and the island province of Catanduanes. TS Quinta was tracking west on Sunday, information from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) stated. Footage uploaded to Facebook by Erwin Olarte shows wild winds clearing one of the area’s shopping districts. “‘QUINTA’ is forecast to continue moving generally westward until its landfall over the Catanduanes-Albay-Sorsogon area this afternoon or evening,” a PAGASA alert issued on Sunday read.
