A waterspout formation was seen on Green Lake, in Spicer, Minnesota, on August 14, amid storm warnings for the region. Local resident Nate Reznechek captured footage of the funnel swirling over the water. Severe thunderstorm warnings and a tornado warning were issued for central Minnesota. The National Weather Service wrote: “Storms in central Minnesota could be producing severe weather over the next couple of hours as it heads east.
