Potential Tropical Storm Lashes Virgin Islands With Rain

Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine (PTC9) hit the Virgin Islands on July 29, lashing the Caribbean with rain and strong winds. According to the Meteorological Department of St Maarten, the storm had the potential to bring up to four inches of rain. A small craft warning was also in effect, as sea swells of up to 10 feet in height are expected. In this video, filmed from St Thomas looking towards the island of St John, strong wind can be seen whipping the ocean while views are obscured by mist or rain.
