Paul Murray Live Our Town: The Way Back airs tonight 9pm

Sky News anchor Paul Murray will showcase the very best of regional Australia in a special edition of Paul Murray Live Our Town: The Way Back at 9pm AEST tonight. The program will shine a light on the recovery efforts of regional communities hit hard by recent bushfire devastation and COVID-19, showcasing the must-see bucket list locations around the country to help support and rebuild our regional economies. Kangaroo Island, the Blue Mountains, our snowfields and wineries are some of the regional locations overcoming hardship which will be highlighted. During the program, Paul will be speaking with locals and business owners across the country including those from the Northern Territory and Queensland. Paul will also chat to Annie Roberts, Executive Officer, Friends of the One & All Sailing Ship Inc in South Australia, about how the company is thanking frontline bushfire volunteers and giving back to the community, thanks to the News Corp Bushfires Fund, in partnership with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal. The program will also hear from tourism operators hoping for an increase in bookings as some states work towards easing border restrictions. Sony Music’s award-winning country-pop duo Seaforth will entertain viewers, with performances of their latest single ‘Everything Falls for You’ and a cover of Keith Urban’s track ‘Til Summer Comes Around.’ Sky News anchor Paul Murray said: “Country communities are at the heart of our Australian identity, and this is a time when we need to be backing our people and our country more than ever.
