Sydney Year 7 student tests positive to COVID-19

Authorities have confirmed a Year 7 student at Waverley College in Sydney’s east has tested positive to the coronavirus. The school was promptly closed with parents notified to collect their children immediately. The NSW premier has repeatedly warned parents and teachers to be vigilant and have a rapid response prepared in case of infection.
