Six million Australians downloaded the COVIDSafe app after being promised it was the “ticket” to the way out of lockdown but the contract tracing app has so far been marred by issues. State and federal health authorities were on the defensive on Wednesday following reports the states were unable to access the data. Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell sought answers from the health authorities on if the app was working as planned.
