Netflix, Stan reduce quality of stream to cope with increased demand

Netflix and Stan have decided to drop the resolution in their streaming to reduce the amount of data being consumed due to increased numbers of the public in self-isolation as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. Sky News contributor Stephen Fenech said if "everyone was demanding 4K and hi-definition at the same time" it's going to "impact the bandwidth of the network".
