Corroboree frog population survives bushfires

Supplied video obtained Tuesday, February 18, 2020 about the survival of the Southern corroboree frog through recent bushfires in parts of the Kosciusko National Park. Taronga’s Michael McFadden says up to 40 per cent of the frog population in enclosure sites survived the January bushfires. The enclosures are a vital component to the Southern corroboree frog recovery program, providing a disease-free habitat for the critically endangered species.
