PM thanks Australian of Year finalists

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has thanked Australian of the Year finalists for their examples during a special reception in Canberra. Mr Morrison hosted the nominees at The Lodge where he recognised their remarkable feats and reflected on the bushfire crisis facing the nation. The founder of a leading eye health charity and a former refugee who developed a prosthetic technology were among those running for the top award.
