NFL rumors: Cowboys’ Dak Prescott turning down over $30M per season?

Dallas Cowboys contract drama knows no bounds. The latest: According to NFL insider and analyst Michael Lombardi, quarterback Dak Prescott recently turned down an offer that While that seems like a mess for the Cowboys, this isn’t all that surprising. Once Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz took a deal during the spring with the most guaranteed money ever, Prescott (less touted, but more durable and the owner of similar career numbers since their draft year in 2016) was going to leverage the Cowboys for a ton Prescott, 26, can be a free agent after the 2019 season—unless the Cowboys place the franchise tag on their signal caller.
